A Race Between A Car And A Jet: SignalFisher takes the stage at the Swiss Economic Forum

On June 4 and 5, the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) 2026 took place in Interlaken – and SignalFisher was there as one of three nominees for the Swiss Economic Award in the Services category. A distinguished jury selected SignalFisher through a multi-stage process from over 150 applications from all over Switzerland. In the first round, our business model was thoroughly scrutinized by a panel of experts. Ultimately, we were nominated by the main jury as one of only three remaining companies for the final round at the SEF.
On the second day of the SEF – award day – SignalFisher was introduced to the audience at the Congress Kursaal: some 1,750 leaders from business, politics, science, and community. First came a short filmed portrait, followed by an 80-second, amusing pitch from Sandro Nafzger on stage (See video below). With a wink, he explained the battle between cybercriminals and cybersecurity to those present: “Picture it as a race! You’re driving a regular car, but the attackers have a Formula 1 car. So, you go out and buy a Formula 1 car too – except by then, the attackers are already sitting in a jet.” Thanks to AI, Nafzger explained, attackers today are a hundred times faster than defenders. His brief message to the audience: the Cyber Resilience Shield empowers members of executive management and the board of directors to identify cyber risks and manage cyber resilience.
In the end, the win narrowly escaped us: the award went to enshift AG, whom we warmly congratulate. Still, we’re proud of what we achieved – after all, an expert jury recognized SignalFisher’s spot in the final round as an outstanding entrepreneurial achievement. And the appearance at the SEF gave us an invaluable opportunity to present ourselves and our offering to a high-caliber audience.
